1994 : Re -Printing of old and rare books initiated.

In G.O.No.1986, Education Department,dated 16.10.1946, instructions relating to the introduction of regional language as medium of instruction in Government Colleges, were issued.

தாளை வணங்காத் தலை.

விளக்கம் : கேட்காதசெவி, பார்க்காத கண் போன்ற எண் குணங்களை உடைய கடவுளின் திருவடிகளை வணங்காதவரின் தலைகள் பயனற்றவைகளாம்.
