1992 : Endowment scheme in the Tamil Nadu Council of Historical Research for the benefit of scholars created. Three Philanthropists created Endowments with Tamil Nadu Archives to deliver annual lecture for the benefit of the Research Scholars. Microfilm Reader -cum -Printer and Readers installed.

In G.O.No.543,Revenue Department, dated 10.06.1905,the decision of Government of India to adopt a standard time which in India will be exactly 5.30 hours in advance of Greenwich time was communicated.
