1987 : 15 days Record Management training has been converted into that of 30 days training course. Minolta Plain Paper copier installed. District Record Centre at Salem started. Interim Respository was organized in Archives buildings for preserving semi current records.

What Archives preserves contain papers documenting day today administration of the Government which include routine matters, policy decisions,introduction of schemes and papers and orders on turning points in the politico - social and economic history of the state.Among such numerous archival papers which are sources for describing the turning points in the State's history, certain documents have been selected and published here for public view and reproduced in Boxes.
