1988 : Preparation of Guide to Records under the Central Financial Assistance Scheme.

In G.O.No.158,Public Department, dated 03.03.1906,it was ordered that the nomenclature of "Black Town" in the then Madras(now Chennai),be changed to "George Town".

கழகத்துக் காலை புகின்.

விளக்கம் : சூதாடுமிடத்தில் ஒருவனுடைய காலம் கழியுமானால் அது அவனுடைய பழைமையாய் வந்த செல்வத்தையும் இயல்பான நற்பண்பையும் கெடுக்கும்.
