1926 : Mr. J.J.Cotton appointed as first Curator and Editor

In G.O.No.1986, Education Department,dated 16.10.1946, instructions relating to the introduction of regional language as medium of instruction in Government Colleges, were issued.

விளக்கம் : மதியாதவரின் பின் சென்று ஒருவன் உயிர்வாழ்வதை விட, அவ்வாறு செய்யாத நிலையில் நின்று அழிந்தான் என்று சொல்லப்படுதல் நல்லது.
